Today we are going old school and burning a CD so that it will play in a car cd player and any standard cd player, because I've seen some YouTube tutorials are actually giving out some wrong information, I thought I will bring back some order to this chaos. Steps 1 You will need a CD +R or -R, no need for CD RW, although it can be handy for testing, wrong information on YouTube, higher price doesn't mean higher quality necessarily. 2 Right format; i,e WAV or AIFF not mp3 or other compressed file, will not play on standard cd player. A Wav file will be much larger, so less tunes will fit on a standard CD 3 44100 hz and 16 bit pcm, no other foramt and rate. 4 Need to convert mp3 to WAV or AIFF, can use Audacity or other any other free app or convertor 5 For burning software, can use Windows Media Player. Another option can be CDBurnerXP on Windows, CDEX open source, or any other.
